Microproduction Workshops

❗Registration for Practical Microproduction Workshops in Digital Dentistry❗

📢 SAS UMFCD and C.I.C.D.S. are opening registration for the Practical Microproduction Workshops in Digital Dentistry.

🦷 Participants will develop practical skills in digital dentistry: scanning, CAD design, 3D printing and digital tooth shade analysis.

✅ Eligible participants are UMFCD students enrolled in the Faculty of Dentistry or the Faculty of Midwifery and Nursing – Dental Technology Programme, regardless of their year of study. 

📅 Schedule:

• Module 1 (13–16 July): The virtual patient – Intraoral and extraoral data acquisition

Workshop 1.1 – Intraoral data acquisition 

Workshop 1.2 – Extraoral data acquisition 

• Module 2 (14–17 Sept.): Design – CAD design of prosthetic components

Workshop 2.1 – CAD design of anatomically shaped dental replicas 

Workshop 2.2 – CAD design of customised prototype components 

• Module 3 (12–15 Oct.):  3D printing – Printing and processing of prosthetic components

Workshop 3.1 – Stereolithography printing 

Workshop 3.2 – Printing with a PolyJet 3D printer 

• Module 4 (2–5 Nov.): Spectrophotometry – Recording and reproducing the colours of dental and gingival tissues

Workshop 4.1 – Dental and gingival colour scanning 

Workshop 4.2 – Spectrophotometric measurement 

👥 Places available: 160 (40 places per module)
You may attend one or more modules, but you must complete all workshops within your selected module or modules.
