About us

The Interdisciplinary Centre for Research and Development in Dentistry (C.I.C.D.S.) is an academic research unit established to bring together professional expertise across UMFCD and conduct high-quality scientific research in dentistry.

The mission and work of C.I.C.D.S. centre on basic and applied research in dentistry, with a focus on strengthening the capacity to generate new knowledge and provide the scientific foundation for advances in dentistry, while improving the quality of continuing education for students, doctoral candidates and resident physicians, alongside the development of innovative methods, procedures, techniques and materials.
