UMFCD Days – Workshop: Intraoral Scanning, CAD Design and Prosthetic Printing

As part of the prestigious UMFCD Days, the Digital Dentistry Laboratory was pleased to host a workshop dedicated to digital dentistry.
The workshop, entitled Intraoral Scanning, 3D Design and Prosthetic Printing, brought together dedicated students from the Faculties of Dentistry and Dental Technology.

Participants followed the entire digital workflow, from data acquisition using an intraoral scanner to the digital CAD design of a dental crown, culminating in 3D printing and post-processing.
A particular highlight was the opportunity to use the haptic simulator, demonstrating how virtual precision can translate into essential practical skills.

We appreciate the students’ active participation and enthusiasm, and hope that their experience at LTDS will inspire their future academic development.
